First off, for obvious reasons, I wanna draw your attention to one of the biggest classics of East Coast hip-hop.
Jeru the Damaja and DJ Premier did this joint that should be in everybody’s record collection and that will always be thumping in our heads with bangers like D. Original, Can’t stop the Prophet or Come Clean, which is the track that gave this blog its name. You may think about later Jeru albums what you will but this debut was an explosion on the scene that people still haven’t recovered from. Dude still rocks shows all over the world with his classics. Too bad Premier doesn’t do entire albums for him anymore…

i still prefer wrath of the math [produced entirely by preemo too] than this debut, which is also the bomb, but i really love wrath, one of my favourite albums of all time…
